Job summary

Premier Eye Associates, LLC is seeking a friendly Eye Care Assistant for a full-time role in Opelika, AL. You will support front-office tasks, assist with clinical duties, and help patients with eyewear and care throughout their visit.

No prior eye care experience is required as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. Competitive benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service, receptionist/front-office, medical, or optical experience is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in/check-out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support front-office operations.
• Guide patients through health histories, pre-testing, and other clinical aspects of their visit.
• Assist doctors with patient flow, contact lens services, pre- and post-operative care, and patient education.
• Help patients with frame selection, eyewear options, and optical services.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with patient paperwork.
