Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA, is seeking a Tool & Die Technician to clean, prepare, and stage extrusion tooling; assist with line setups and tooling changeovers; and support production and packing operations as needed.

You will disassemble and reassemble dies and calibrators, operate the ultrasonic tooling machine, maintain safe work practices, complete paperwork, perform quality inspections, and help pack finished products as required.

Qualifications

• Related machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English and follow established work processes.
• Ability to safely move materials and operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing and tape measure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles dies, calibrators, and tank plates.
• Stages tooling and assists with extrusion line setups and tooling changeovers.
• Uses and maintains the ultrasonic tooling machine.
• Maintains a safe working environment by completing daily housekeeping.
• Wears/uses all required PPE; abides by all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains required paperwork.
• Performs online quality inspections.
• Performs packer duties to support production, including labeling and packaging.
