Rubbercraft is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 (Extrusion) in Long Beach, CA to support production of rubber extrusions used in aerospace and other critical applications.

The role requires hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting extrusion equipment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Knowledge of various elastomer compounds and the use of calipers for measurements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn setup, operation, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, safety and quality-minded.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and monitor rubber extrusion equipment per specs.
• Prepare, mix, and process rubber compounds for proper flow.
• Read drawings and quality requirements, perform dimensional inspections.
• Maintain production records and equipment cleanliness.
