Job summary

Job description

• Permanent position for an Extrusion Technician (2nd shift) to operate extruder lines and ancillary equipment associated with cable manufacturing.
• Verify product and process quality.
• Monitor material levels, geometries, spool wind and surface print quality periodically during the run.
• Review and record process conditions as required.
• Review work orders, materials, specifications and process requirements.
• Test and inspect cables to ensure compliance with product drawing specifications, applicable procedures and order specific notes on Work Order.
• Document and verify that cable data is recorded properly.
• Label and package product to ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in extrusion and/or cable manufacturing experience.
• Technical or mechanical background required.
• Basic computer skills required.
