Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC is seeking an extruder operator for the 2nd shift (3:30PM–12:00AM) to set up, load materials, and manage machine operations. You will monitor production, adjust speeds and temperatures, and ensure quality output while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with wire, PVC and/or plastic extrusion.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature).
• Load extruder hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate per job specifications.
• Load reels of wire into payoff stand and route through equipment.
• Monitor machine and fix issues during shift.
• Support other tasks as needed.
