Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking an Extrusion Assistant to support the Extrusion Department with raw materials handling, loading rolls, and rolling changes. You will keep work areas stocked and ensure proper waste disposal.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklift/clamp trucks. You’ll work on a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule in a climate-controlled environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Role requires handling raw materials and resins safely.
• Experience with loading/unloading rolls and changing rubber/chill rolls is ideal.
• Must keep work areas stocked and manage waste properly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and resins.
• Safely load/unload rolls and change rubber/chill rolls.
• Properly manage waste and scrap materials.
• Keep machine areas stocked with materials.
• Store and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Operate forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
