Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an Extrusion Assistant for the Extrusion Department in a climate-controlled, manufacturing environment. The role involves preparing and handling raw materials and resins, loading/unloading rolls, and maintaining clean, stocked work areas on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

This position offers overtime pay on Saturdays/Sundays, paid vacation and holidays, 401K match, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with handling raw materials and resins is preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and resins.
• Safely load/unload rolls and change rubber/chill rolls.
• Properly manage waste and scrap materials.
• Keep machine areas stocked with materials.
• Store and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
