Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a production operator to setup, run, and monitor extrusion lines for vinyl and accessory products in a fast-paced plant environment. The role requires accurate quality checks, color control, and adherence to process specifications.

The position involves shift work on a 12-hour schedule, with day or night options, and requires forklift operation responsibilities as part of daily material handling. Compensation is hourly with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have extrusion experience; plastics extrusion preferred.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production extrusion machinery.
• Start-up extrusion lines and adjust to stabilize process and minimize scrap.
• Perform continuous quality checks and record data.
• Monitor incoming materials and tooling to ensure proper color and specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic processing conditions and assist maintenance as needed.
