Inteplast Group in Kentucky is hiring an Extrusion Stacker to ensure products meet standards by taking quality measurements and documenting results. You will assist the Extrusion Technician with machine setup and troubleshooting and stack finished goods according to schedule.

The role requires reading a ruler to 1/16", basic math skills, strong problem-solving, and willingness to work overtime on 3pm-11:30pm or 11pm-7:30am shifts. Benefits and training provided.

Qualificações

• Complete basic math such as adding, dividing, subtracting, percentages, etc.
• Must be able to read a ruler to 1/16".
• Available to work overtime when needed.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Ensured that the workplace is safe, professional, and clean by upholding company THM practices.
• Assures validation and compliance of product requirements by performing and documenting quality checks on production materials at set intervals.
• Assists the Extrusion Technician in the upkeep of the Extrusion line and set ups for production runs.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by filling out forms that enhance the work environment, encourage machine efficiencies, and promote cost savings.
• Assists in Trial Production which can include actions in machine set up, raw materials, or other trial activities.
• Participate in product development efforts as opportunity presents.
• Supports the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program by completing specific job assigned tasks.
• Relieves the line Extrusion Technician for his/her breaks and lunch.
• Completes assigned wrapping and banding to package skids.

TITLE: Extrusion Stacker

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Ensures extruded product conforms to product standard requirements by taking and documenting quality measurements, assists the Extrusion Technician in machine set up and troubleshooting techniques, and stacks products according to scheduling and standard protocol.

SHIFT TIMES AND PAY

• Hiring for 3pm to 11:30pm, and 11pm to 7:30am shifts
• Starting at $13.25 per hr. - earn $1.00 more per hour on 3pm to 11:30pm and 11pm to 7:30am shifts with shift differential.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

• Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding. Body agility is emphasized.
• Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
• Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.
• Kneeling and crouching, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
• Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Pushing, using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward or outward.
• Pulling, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
• Lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
• Degree of Lifting: 26-50 lbs.
• Fingering, picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling.

VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

• Machine operation, inspection, close assembly.
• Position requires individuals to differentiate colors, depth and perception.
