Job summary

Westlake Plastics, a world-leading extrusion and compression molding manufacturer, seeks an Extrusion Sheet-line Operator for a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will monitor line quality, safety, and product specs, and maintain shift records.

Responsibilities include setup and troubleshooting of extrusion lines, ensuring proper handover to the next shift, and adhering to ISO/OSHA standards while working with various departments to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to think on their feet and solve problems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a running sheet extrusion line with respect to quality, safety and product specification.
• Maintain accurate records of extrusion process parameters through the duration of the shift.
• Learn to set-up, start and troubleshoot all specialty product extrusion lines.
• Ensure handover of process information from the production run to next shift's lead operator.
• Follow company standards for safety and PPE, and comply with ISO and OSHA standards.
• Complete relevant training provided by the company.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other departments.
