Entry Operations and Support - Repair & Maintenance (Mechanical)

Available Shift: Third

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate the Extrusion Press Line and communicate effectively with team members.
2. Inspect material for squareness, flatness, bow, and gauge as per work instructions.
3. Operate saws safely and maintain quality cuts.
4. Understand saw blade styles and troubleshoot common issues.
5. Follow work instructions for saw duties.
6. Operate stretching equipment according to specifications.
7. Monitor metal during stretching with measuring tools to ensure quality.
8. Maintain a clean work area.
9. Perform basic maintenance on saws.
10. Train backup operators.
11. Act as backup to press operator and head stretcher, requiring cross-training.
12. Follow process sheets and written instructions diligently.
13. Collaborate effectively with team members of all levels.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.
• Adhere to safety and work instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to follow detailed directions.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; manufacturing or mobile equipment operation experience helpful.
• Ability to use a calculator and read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
