Job summary

Amcor Limited in Ohio is seeking a Winder Operator to run extrusion equipment, ensure product quality, and follow safety and GMP standards. You will handle changeovers, box making, and resin supply checks to meet production schedules.

The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, standing for long shifts, and basic measurement/calculation skills. Training in PVC manufacturing and experience with line setup are preferred.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 80 pounds.
• Trained in PVC manufacturing procedures.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in using a tape measure and calculator.
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment.
• Capable of recording production data.
• Must stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meet production and product requirements per work orders.
• Make boxes and wax cores to fulfill work orders.
• Ensure adequate raw material levels to run line.
• Perform first piece, periodic and final quality checks on rolls.
• Complete quality checks on every roll when required.
• Assist with changeovers, line threading, and setup tasks.
• Record production data on work orders and logs.
• Follow safety, PPE rules and plant policies.
