Job summary

Kobelco Aluminum Products & Extrusions Inc. in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Extrusion Production Team Leader. Start at $19.00/hr with a $0.50/hr shift differential where applicable, located at 18 Kobe Way.

Lead daily production staffing, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive process improvements in a drug-free workplace. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, monitoring output, and maintaining production records while mentoring teammates and promoting a culture of safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and workflow.
• Follow directions from the Production Supervisor.
• Monitor production output, scrap, and downtime.
• Verify job standards and report defects; maintain accurate production documentation.
• Assist with training and process audits.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and safety.
