Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimise extrusion manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) and Engineering Test Requests (ETRs).
• Lead and support process improvement, validation, and new product development projects.
• Perform product and process validations on extrusion lines and injection moulding equipment.
• Analyse manufacturing data and identify opportunities for process optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external vendors to implement engineering solutions.
• Support equipment, tooling, and mould design activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and engineering reports.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel domestically, with occasional international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Plastics or Polymer Engineering.
• Experience with plastic part design, extrusion, and injection moulding processes.
• Knowledge of mould design and mould shop manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with tooling vendors and external suppliers.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD/CAM software.

Salary Range: $76,600 - $86,600 The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
