Job summary

Wastequip's Toter Brand is hiring for an Extrusion/Compounding Operator at our Statesville, NC location. This full-time role includes health insurance, 401K, paid vacation and more. The operator sets up, starts up and shuts down extrusion lines to safely produce resin at the desired output rate.

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Mon - Fri. Pay: $22.45 per hour plus a $1 shift differential. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain a forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift license is required.
• Ability to read and write English and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Color vision is required.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work assigned shift.

• Writes and maintains accurate production reports.

The Extrusion/Compounding Operator sets up, starts up and shuts down extrusion lines to safely produce quality resin at desired output rate.

Job Details

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Mon - Fri.

Pay: $22.45 + $1 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to compound schedule and current blend
• Sets up machine for production run
• Monitors equipment for any maintenance and safety issues
• Write and maintain accurate production reports
• Operates blender per schedule
• Confirms schedule and blend adherence
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Clean hoppers and pelletizer, gather materials, calculate formulas, and change screens as needed
• Monitor operation of machine for acceptable quality and standard production rates
• Conducts quality checks on produced resin
• Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment
• Write and maintain accurate production reports
• Maintains work area per safety and 5S standards
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Forklift license required
