Job summary

YKK AP America Inc. seeks an Extrusion Operator for the 3rd shift (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) to oversee correct machine operation, perform quality checks and manage the package profile.

You will assist line start-up, monitor equipment, keep loaders full, grind profile as needed, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
• Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software preferred.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Be vigilant about safety.
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence.

Position Summary

• Assist in line start-up.
• Perform quality checks on profile.
• Monitor correct machine operation. Adjust machine for minor problems.
• Keep compound and pigment loaders full.
• Grind profile as needed.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.

At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $18.27 to $19.05, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
