Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Press Operator to operate extrusion press equipment, monitor temperatures, tune settings, and ensure consistent output. You will prepare tooling, load dies, and minimize downtime during changes while maintaining accurate EPICS records.

The role requires 1–2+ years in an industrial setting, ability to read drawings, and strong numeracy for measurements and tolerances. Monday to Friday, 7am–3:30pm shift, on-site location in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret measurements.
• Understanding of measurements, tolerances, basic geometry, and numeracy.
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining extrusion/press equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion press equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Prepare and maintain tooling, load dies, and minimize downtime during changes.
• Perform quality checks on extrusions to ensure specifications during production.
• Maintain accurate production records in EPICS and communicate equipment concerns.
