Mativ is seeking an extrusion line operator for evening/night shifts in Roanoke, VA. You will set up, start, and troubleshoot extrusion lines, ensure products meet specifications, and document process data. Must comply with food safety rules and operate tooling safely.

Responsibilities include installing tooling, adjusting controls, performing QC, and storing finished goods. Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Able to read metric and US customary measuring systems.
• Able to read ruler to nearest 1/16 inch or 0.01 cm.
• Able to convert measurements between systems.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and basic software.
• Read and comprehend English.

Responsabilités

• Set up extrusion line per schedule and BOM/SOC.
• Install tooling and select proper tooling.
• Start up extrusion line and adjust drives; test product.
• Perform QC tests and verify product is in spec.
• Store finished product and return tools to stock.
• Adhere to Food Safety Regulations as applicable.
• Document data in data collection systems.
