Shift: Day Shift, 7AM-7PM (rotating shift)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, as an Extrusion Line Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of work requirements on your assigned line. Your main duties include operating the extruder and printing functions, and overseeing line operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate extruder pressure calibration tanks, spray cooling tank, cutter, re-cutter, water chilling system, and printer
• Select and install printing plates, ensuring proper alignment and registration
• Operate to ensure proper ink application and curing, adhering to quality standards; clean equipment as needed
• Monitor production, make adjustments to maintain quality and rate objectives
• Document quality and process information, assist with inspections, and train team members

Qualifications

• 2-3 years manufacturing experience or operating printing equipment
• High school diploma or GED, with basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills, and effective communication
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Flexibility to rotate shifts and work overtime; manual dexterity for machinery and computer operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
