Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Extrusion Operator (A Shift) in Telford, PA. The role involves setting up and operating blown film extrusion equipment to support safe, efficient production and high quality standards. Training is provided, with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

You will monitor processes, perform in-process testing, complete changeovers, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining a clean, safe work area in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and basic hand tools safely.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks with good form.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment per production standards.
• Monitor processes and product quality; adjust as needed.
• Perform in-process quality tests and document results accurately.
• Complete job changeovers and prep equipment for upcoming runs.
• Troubleshoot process/equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Follow safety, GMP, SQF and plant policies; report incidents.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Inspect equipment routinely and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep work area clean using 5S; assist training of new staff.
• Attend to housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Shift Options:2-2-3 (7 AM to 7 PM)

Job Summary: As anExtrusion Operator, you will set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment, supporting efficient and safe production while maintaining the highest quality standards. Fres-co offers hands‑on training and a supportive environment to help you succeed, whether you are new to manufacturing or bring prior experience.

• Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment according to production and quality standards
• Monitor processes and product quality; make adjustments as needed
• Perform in-process quality testing and accurately document results
• Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalat when necessary
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies; report near misses or incidents promptly
• Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards
• Support training of new team members
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned
