Job summary

technoformhris is seeking an Extrusion Operator for the 9:30pm-6am shift. You will operate a co-extrusion line to produce custom plastic profiles, perform setup and changeovers, and monitor quality metrics.

This role emphasizes strict adherence to safety and lean manufacturing practices. You will support data collection for quality control, perform basic measurements with calipers, and help with machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of precision measurement devices or computerized control systems.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and mathematical ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job description

Extrusion Operator - 3rd Shift: 9:30pm-6am

Candidates who accept an offer must complete a background check and drug & alcohol test.

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for any employer.

Your Tasks:

• Operate a co-extrusion process of custom plastic profiles
• Service, repair, and operate extrusion equipment
• Assist in initial line setup and change overs following posted schedule
• Help in data reporting for quality control and production
• Monitor and optimize the manufacturing process in accordance with quality standards
• Blend materials and load hoppers to meet product specifications and order needs
• Perform a variety of mechanical and physical testing required per product specification and quality assurance using calipers and other measurement processes
• Carry out inspections and maintenance of production lines and assist with repairs
• Maintain order and cleanliness in all work areas through 5S and LEAN manufacturing methods (training will be provided)
• Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety metrics
• Operate tow-motor after certification to load and unload raw materials

Your required Qualifications:
