Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a leading manufacturing organization in Louisville, KY to hire an Extrusion Operator for the 3rd shift. You will operate plastic extrusion equipment, monitor gauges, and contribute to quality and efficiency.

This role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience as a machine operator, forklift experience, basic math and computer skills, and a safety-first mindset. Overtime and weekend work may be required; nights are 11PM to 7AM.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience as a machine operator with knowledge of process equipment, tooling, and procedures
• Basic math, reading, computer, and analytical skills
• High awareness towards safety and ability to analyze and solve production issues
• Forklift experience is required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends if needed

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic extrusion equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality products
• Adjust gauges to control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Complete all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

As an Extrusion Operator 3rd Shift, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $24.75

Shift: Nights 11PM-7AM
