Responsibilities

• Process products from compounded raw materials safely and efficiently according to specifications.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area at all times.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the work area and equipment.

Job Description

Americhem is a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of custom color masterbatch, functional additives, engineered compounds and performance technologies. We have several opportunities at our Dalton, GA facility offering competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.

Shift: 2nd 4:00 pm to 12:00 am

Responsibilities of an Operator:

• Processing products from compounded raw materials in a safe and efficient manner, according to specifications and procedures.
• Setting up, operating, and tending machines
• Creating Pellets by running compound through extruders and accompanying support equipment.
• Safely operates all relevant equipment, follows safety procedures, and holds safety of self and others in highest regard.
• Maintains clean work area

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production (preferred)
• Skills: Organizational skills to include multi-tasking, planning, and time management
