Your Tasks

1. Operate an extrusion process of high precision custom plastic profiles.
2. Perform initial line setup and changeovers following posted schedules.
3. Complete detailed on-line, QC, and production data reporting.
4. Blend materials and load hoppers to meet product specifications and order needs.
5. Perform mechanical and physical testing per product specifications and quality assurance using calipers and other measurement tools.
6. Maintain and repair extrusion line equipment, tools, and work area as scheduled or needed.
7. Maintain order and cleanliness in all work areas through 5S and LEAN manufacturing methods.
8. Communicate and cooperate with team members to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety metrics.

Your Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Extrusion Operator.
• Mechanical background; experience with plastic extrusion equipment, precision measurement devices, or computerized control systems preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Tow motor experience.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with quality control; ISO experience preferred.
• Participation in Six Sigma or Lean projects is a plus.
• Commitment to Continuous Improvement.
• Strong work ethic; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented individual.
• Shift flexibility and ability to support multiple processes.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and change.
