Your Tasks

1. Operate an extrusion process of high precision custom plastic profiles.
2. Perform initial line setup and changeovers following the posted schedule.
3. Complete detailed on-line, QC, and production data reporting.
4. Blend materials and load hoppers to meet product specifications and order needs.
5. Perform mechanical and physical testing according to product specifications and quality assurance, using calipers and other measurement tools.
6. Maintain and repair extrusion line equipment, tools, and work areas as scheduled or as needed.
7. Maintain cleanliness and order in all work areas through 5S and LEAN manufacturing practices.
8. Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety standards.

Your Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Extrusion Operator.
• Mechanical background; experience with plastic extrusion equipment, precision measurement devices, or computerized control systems preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Tow motor experience.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with quality control; ISO experience preferred.
• Participation in Six Sigma or Lean projects is a plus.
• Commitment to Continuous Improvement.
• Strong work ethic; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Flexible shifts and ability to support multiple processes.
