Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Extrusion Operator in Jacksonville, Florida to operate extrusion lines and produce HDPE film. The role requires safety adherence, ability to work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, and completing required training. Eligible to work in the United States and capable of overtime.

The position offers $20.00 per hour with a 2-2-3 schedule and rotating days/nights every 28 days. Benefits are provided as part of the overall package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies.
• Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film.
• Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste.
• Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift.
• Assure proper packaging and labeling of film.
• Complete daily production reporting

Extrusion Operator|Jacksonville, Florida| Now Hiring

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour

Available Shift:

• 7am-7pm (rotating days and nights every 28 days, 2-2-3 schedule)
