Job summary

Engineered Floors is seeking an Extrusion Operator to efficiently run an extrusion machine for yarn production. You will monitor operations, adjust breakouts as needed, and collaborate with a partner to maintain safe, productive throughput.

Responsibilities include packing-out yarn with correct labeling, cleaning and inspecting spinnerets, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Lifting up to 60 lbs and possible overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Extrusion experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Color perception and color discrimination required.
• Overtime may be required from time to time.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

• Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Must be able to use scissors, a wrap stick, wrenches, and other hand tools.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Extrusion experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Overtime required on occasion.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
