• Previous experience operating extrusion machines required.
• Strong understanding of quality control and food safety procedures.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and address production issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily extrusion department operations to ensure production goals and schedules are met.
• Ensure finished products meet quality and food safety standards.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform equipment repairs and report significant maintenance concerns as needed.
• Provide direction and supervision to employees within the department.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and support production operations.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Complete required production paperwork, records, and reports accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Manufacturing and production environment.
• Work areas may be noisy and exposed to hot or cold temperatures.
• Requires working around production machinery and equipment.

HOURS

• 2-2-3 schedule
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

PAY

• $23.00/hr base pay
• $1.00/hr night shift differential for night shift
