Job summary

Boyd Corporation in Elkhart, Indiana is seeking an Extrusion Operator to operate extrusion equipment and produce quality parts. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand.

You will inspect materials, adjust settings, and ensure accuracy of shift paperwork while supporting a team focused on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality parts; inspecting and approving profiles to ensure they meet all manufacturing requirements.
• Inspect the quality of materials and alert the Production Supervisor or appropriate personnel of material issues and/or failures immediately.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
• Inspect the quality of the machinery and report equipment failures to the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure that all required shift paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
