Job summary

System One is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/III – Extrusion for Lakewood, CO. This direct-hire onsite role supports preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion equipment in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic controls and PLC experience, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic controls, and logic systems.
• Experience with PLC programming, Ethernet communication, DeviceNet, and industrial networks.
• Strong root cause analysis skills and experience supporting production and maintenance for medical devices.
• Experience with extrusion/molding equipment is a major plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on simple/manual, semi-automated, and certain aspects of fully automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Contribute to process optimization and scrap reduction through equipment design improvements and updates to operating and maintenance procedures.
• Independently troubleshoot equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability, implementing permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.
