Job summary

ProAmpac in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking an Extrusion Assistant for the Extrusion Department to support daily operations and material handling.

You will prepare raw materials, load and unload rolls, manage waste, keep areas stocked, and operate a forklift, with a 2-2-3 day/night shift and 12-hour rotations. This role offers stability and opportunities to grow within a global leader in flexible packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and resins.
• Safely load/unload rolls and change rubber/chill rolls.
• Properly manage waste and scrap materials.
• Keep machine areas stocked with materials.
• Store and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
