• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, e.g. forklifts, safely.
• Reading and writing skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety and maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate and monitor a plastic extrusion line to meet quality specs.
• Follow standard operating procedures to keep line running to spec.
• Lead line tooling changes, start-ups and shutdowns.
• Complete shift production and reporting paperwork accurately.
• Conduct regular product sampling to ensure quality consistency.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
• Meet or exceed production efficiencies on all lines.
• Maintain能力 to operate multiple lines via certifications.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform safe tool changes and adjust equipment as required.
• Adhere to PPE and housekeeping standards throughout the shift.
