Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a production operator to support extrusion lines with attention to quality and safety. You will manage forms, maintain equipment cleanliness, and monitor line performance on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities include identifying and addressing issues, reading schedules, and collaborating with the Process Leader to keep production on track. The role emphasizes teamwork, safe practices, and flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Experience operating machinery in a continuous production environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and complete production schedules and reporting forms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain administrative forms for extrusion processes accurately and timely.
• Keep vacuum, stuffer, and vents clean and free of material.
• Maintain distilled water levels and additives in extruder cooling tanks.
• Ensure lines run at proper rates, temps, and percentages per engineering/management.
• Ensure boards meet color and length specs according to daily schedule.
• Notify Process Leader or Supervisor of issues affecting performance or quality.
• Monitor line output hourly to verify product quality.
• Maintain safe working habits around equipment and materials.
• Demonstrate teamwork by assisting coworkers as directed.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
