Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Line Operator to manage day-to-day production on a plastic extrusion line. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting startup, shutdowns, and tooling changes.

The role requires 40+ hours weekly with 12-hour shift options and overtime. ADS offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a global manufacturing network.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, i.e. forklifts, in a safe manner.
• Reading and Writing skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Educational requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Embraces a culture of safety and maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion line to meet quality specs and production targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures and execute line tooling changes, start-ups, and shutdowns.
• Complete shift production and reporting paperwork accurately.
• Conduct routine product sampling to ensure consistent quality.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and line continuous improvement.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and line certifications.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues; perform repairs as needed.
• Perform safe tool changes and maintain PPE and housekeeping standards.
