SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary function is to participate in all capacities in the effective operation of the Extrusion Press. Perform all operations as it would relate to billet cutting and loading, stacking tooling and loading, catching, block busting and processing material once extruded. Must be able to perform a wide variety of Mill operations such as but not limited to pointing and setting up and drawing and straightening materials. Will assist in training of new employees when required. Will adhere to Companywide safety policies and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

To performthisjobsuccessfully,an individualmust be ableto performeach essentialdutysatisfactorily.Therequirementslisted belowarerepresentativeoftheknowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Highschooldiplomaor general education degree(GED); andsixto twelvemonthsrelated experienceand/or training.

MATHEMATICAL and/or COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use basic shop math. Knowledge of computer operation and related software required.

REASONING ABILITY

Abilitytoapply common sense understanding to canyoutinstructionsfurnished inwritten,oral,ordiagramfo1m. Abilitytodealwith problemsinvolving severalconcrete variablesinstandardizedsituations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Operate forklift truck (willbe licensed in accordance withOSHApower industrial truck operatorrequirements.)
