JOB DETAILS

Walk-In Interviews are occurring M-F from April 21st to May 1st, 8am-3:30pm at our Marion, OH location. No appointment is needed.

Base Pay Rate: $21.50-$29.50 per hour

2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure safely, minimizing production downtime due to equipment failure.
  • Notify the Maintenance Supervisor when supplies are low and need replenishment.
  • Provide information for ordering supplies.
  • Develop and review standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in all maintenance work areas.
  • Comply with quality and environmental management systems.
  • Understand basic electrical concepts: voltage, current, resistance.
  • Use a volt-ohm meter and non-contact voltage testers to test electrical circuits.
  • Understand mechanical fasteners, select and install appropriate types.
  • Handle and apply lubricants, understanding their properties and storage.
  • Apply basic machine shop skills safely.
  • Participate in TPM initiatives.
  • Understand hydraulic and pneumatic valve operation and components.
  • Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and metal cutting tasks.
  • Use lifting and moving equipment such as block and tackle, chain hoists, and cranes.
  • Inspect heavy lifting hardware and scaffolding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, including scales, symbols, and dimensions.
Qualifications
  • Working towards or have an Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Trained in safety protocols including LOTO, electrical/mechanical safety, ladder safety, CPR, respiratory protection, fire response, confined space, fall protection, aerial lifts, PIT.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with equipment provided for heavy components.
  • Physical ability to squat, crawl, reach, kneel, and balance as needed.
  • Repetitive manual actions with both hands.
  • Experience working with chemicals, in confined spaces, and at heights.
  • Wearing appropriate PPE and handling hazardous waste safely.
  • Working near energized circuits and hot equipment.
