Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring for an Extrusion Associate in Covington, OH. The role offers contract-to-hire opportunities with a $500 retention bonus after conversion to full-time employment and a pay rate of $18.25–$19.75 per hour.

Schedules include Day shift from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM and Night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The position emphasizes safe, efficient production, quality checks, and accurate recordkeeping in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
• Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Load cardboard cores and raw materials onto extrusion machinery.
• Assist the Shift Supervisor with daily production activities.
• Complete quality control checks and maintain accurate production records.
• Package finished products according to customer requirements.
• Monitor production lines and alert supervisors to equipment or product issues.
• Assist with machine and line adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Capabilities

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Occasionally lift more than 75 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
• Ability to safely work around heated equipment and plastic materials.
