Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an extrusion operator to visually inspect extruded products, ensure consistency, and maintain quality checks on packaging lines. The role requires reading a tape measure and basic math, with potential for 12-hour shifts and independent/team work.

Qualifications

• Able to read English and quality test product.
• Must read tape measure to 16th of an inch.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent and team collaboration to meet goals and quality standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Understand and follow safety policies.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• No experience required; manufacturing and extrusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Base Pay: $16 per hour

2-2-3 Work Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.
• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections
• Operates packaging equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.

• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred
