Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for an Extrusion Associate 2nd Shift/Material Handler in North Carolina. The role is full-time, permanent, with a 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

You will move vinyl materials, operate a Drexel forklift, and support warehouse operations. The position requires physical fitness for heavy lifting, ability to read a tape measure, and capability to be cross-trained across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs for light production.
• Able to read a tape measure and calipers.
• Cross-trained in multiple functions across departments.
• Experience operating forklift in a warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

Operator will run a Drexel Forklift to move finish material of Vinyl into warehouse.

Operator will make labels material and scan in inventory.

Operator will load trucks and unload trucks of finish material.

Operator will be responsible for weighting up scrap racks and boxes from finish area.

• Lifting requirements: 20 lbs. frequently; 40 lbs. occasionally for light production; and 40 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally for heavy production.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Familiarity with using and reading calipers
• Have the ability to operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble.
• Have the ability to be cross-trained in multiple functions within and between multiple department lines.
• Employees are required to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a twelve-hour shift.
