Job summary

Amcor in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Assistant Operator (Extrusion) to support line setup, start-up, quality checks and housekeeping. You will report to the Production Supervisor and may fill in for an Operator as you develop skills.

Requirements include a safety mindset, the ability to read a tape measure, and fluent English communication. A high school diploma or manufacturing experience is preferred. This is a full-time hourly role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform functional math and read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with line setup, start-up, scrap-control and quality checks.
• Participate in new hire training, packing out finished product and housekeeping.
• Fill in for the Operator in their absence based on development and experience.
