Job summary

Amcor is hiring an Extrusion Assistant to support Coater and Blown Film extrusion operations. You will assist with machine setup, changeovers, production runs, and shutdowns while helping maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with 12-hour rotating or straight night schedules, day-one benefits, and opportunities to grow within a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a 12-hour schedule, including nights.
• Basic math, measurement, and reading skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture
• Operate Coater and Blown Film machines when qualified
• Order and maintain resin box inventory
• Package mill rolls and manage scrap materials
• Perform housekeeping to keep a clean work area
• Support 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Understand and support product safety requirements
• Assist with additional projects as assigned by leadership
