Job summary

Amcor is hiring an Extrusion Assistant to support Coater and Blown Film extrusion operations at our Wisconsin facility. You will assist with machine setup, changeovers, production runs, and shutdowns while helping maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, including nights when assigned, with a rotating schedule and nights premium. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a 12-hour schedule, including nights if assigned.
• Basic math, measurement, and reading skills are required.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture.
• Operate Coater and Blown Film machines when qualified and needed.
• Order and maintain resin box inventory to support production needs.
• Package mill rolls and manage scrap materials efficiently.
• Perform housekeeping and keep a clean, organized work environment.
• Support 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including cross-training opportunities.
• Understand and support product safety requirements.
• Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned by leadership.
