In a production setting, you will set up and operate extrusion equipment to process molten plastic over copper conductors and fiber materials, while maintaining documentation and quality per procedures. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years manufacturing experience, and strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn set‑up procedures.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.
• Strong teamwork and good communication with operators and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate extrusion process equipment.
• Follow production schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect finished product for quality and document results.
• Troubleshoot basic issues to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Maintain safe work practices and use PPE as required.
• Assist with preventative maintenance as needed.
