Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking an Extruder Operator in Frazeysburg, OH. The role focuses on setting up and operating an extruder, safely handling materials, and meeting production goals.

You will collaborate with safety, quality, and engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance and can follow work instructions while maintaining OSHA and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required or preferred.
• Experience with machine operation or maintenance.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions.
• Set up Extruder at correct temperature and cleanse die head.
• Operate crane to move regrind and load hopper.
• Use stand-up forklift to move materials to weigh/label area.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Record machine settings for continuous improvement.
• Assist with ERP data entry and management.
• Perform quality inspections (pellet size, melt flow, moisture).
• Meet or exceed production standards.
• Maintain neat work environment and follow 5S.
