Job summary

Midwest Hose & Specialty is seeking an extrusion operator to finish hose production. You will ensure equipment runs smoothly, monitor quality, document production data, and keep work areas clean.

A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role. Responsibilities

• Responsible of extruding hose for finishing department.
• Ensures all equipment is functioning properly
• Communicates issues as needed
• Keep all filters and equipment clean during production runs
• Properly and safely maintain control of production runs
• Maintain all product specifications
• Maintain quality standards checking product for defects and blemishes
• Accurately document all required information during production of hose temperatures, run speeds, etc.
• Effectively communicate information to all extruder operators
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned by department or shift supervisor
• Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment
• Maintain professionalism in the work place
• Perform any other assigned proprietary duties
