Job summary

Midwest Hose & Specialty specializes in hose and fitting wholesale distribution. We are seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to read blueprints, weld with various metals, and operate precision tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of pipe welding experience is required.
• MIG/TIG certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and sketches to execute jobs to specification.
• Use electricity and torches to weld and fabricate components from metal.
• Select and use proper tools and equipment for each task (tape measures, calipers).
• Monitor equipment for safe usage and temperature.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment.
• Assist in moving and handling materials up to 70–100 lbs as needed.

Summary of Position:Perform day to day welding and fabrication duties.
