Job summary

Cordant is seeking a self-motivated Extractions Lab Technician to join our Laboratory Operations team in Flagstaff, AZ. You will prepare biological specimens for analysis using confirmation instrument technology, handling urine and oral fluid samples, and ensuring chain of custody.

Under supervision, you will perform sample prep including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction, prep LC/MS-MS samples, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.
• Data entry skills with alpha and numeric keyboarding are required.

Responsibilities

• Aliquot urine and/or oral fluid specimens for sample preparation procedures.
• Perform sample preparation techniques including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction in accordance with SOPs.
• Prepare samples for LC/MS-MS analysis.
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure chain of custody.
• Troubleshoot issues as necessary and escalate when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records related to specimen preparation and chain of custody.

Extractions Lab Technician – Laboratory Operations- Flagstaff, AZWe are seeking a self-motivated Extractions Lab Technician to join our Laboratory Operations team. Under the supervision of a Laboratory Manager, the Extractions Technician is responsible for preparing biological specimens for analysis using confirmation instrument technology.
