Job summary

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is hiring for production roles in Hastings, NE. No experience is required as training is provided; reliability and willingness to learn are valued as much as technical skills.

You will operate and monitor production equipment, collect samples, and help maintain safe, accurate records. Position involves working outdoors in all weather on rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to carry 50 lbs, lift 65 lbs, push/pull 120 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment for efficient plant operations.
  • Monitor process controls and equipment performance for safe operation.
  • Collect samples and perform or coordinate quality testing per SOPs.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain efficient plant operations.
  • Monitor process controls, gauges, and equipment performance to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Collect product samples according to standard operating procedures and perform or coordinate quality testing.
  • Make process adjustments based on quality results and operating conditions.
  • Maintain accurate production records, equipment logs, and shift documentation.
  • Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist with minor equipment repairs and identify maintenance needs.
  • Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment, as required.
  • Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements (if applicable), and environmental regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production issues to supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided)
  • Ability to:
  • Carry 50 pounds

  • Push/pull up to 120 pounds
Work Environment
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Working around grain dust and industrial equipment
  • Climbing ladders and stairs up to 120 feet high
  • Working rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Typical schedule:
  • Rotating swing shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a)
  • Multiple consecutive workdays followed by multiple days off
