Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Extra-Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (XLUUV) Engineer. In this remote role, you will provide direct support to the Navy’s XLUUV program, serving as a liaison among the program office, fleet, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and ISEA on concerns involving vehicle operations, training, maintenance, and logistics. You will review contractor submittals for accuracy, adequacy, and compliance with requirements; develop maintenance availability plans; and coordinate or assist with maintenance and operational events, including maintenance availabilities, land-based vehicle movements, and at-sea events. You will develop expertise in sortie planning and direct the efforts of the sortie planning team, assist with troubleshooting vehicle faults, and develop and review maintenance procedures for technical accuracy and executability. You will also help establish vehicle sustainment processes and procedures that capture institutional knowledge, build Navy independence, and reduce reliance on OEM support. This mission-critical opportunity is ideal for a leader who can apply deep submarine operational and engineering experience, work through ambiguous technical challenges, and influence stakeholders without direct authority while helping the Navy safely operate, test, and sustain one of its most advanced undersea capabilities.
