Job summary

Ventus Executive Solutions seeks an XL-UUV Engineer for a remote role supporting the Navy’s XLUUV program. The candidate will liaise among program offices, fleet, OEM, and ISEA on vehicle operations, training, maintenance, and logistics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of submarine operational experience.
• Post-Department Head submariner with strong engineering and maintenance background.
• Experience in shipyard or ISEA-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and availability planning across O-, I-, and D-levels.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor submittals for accuracy, adequacy, and compliance.
• Develop maintenance availability plans and coordinate maintenance events.
• Lead sortie planning efforts and troubleshoot vehicle faults.
• Develop and review maintenance procedures for accuracy and executability.
• Help establish vehicle sustainment processes and reduce OEM dependence.
